Common questions
How much do 1,000 replies to customers cost a month?
Nothing on one number, because each number's first 1,000 replies a month are free. After them Meta charges about 0.0401 SAR a reply to a Saudi number, so each further 1,000 replies cost about 40.10 SAR, or 10.70 USD.
Are the free replies per number or per account?
Per number: each number's first 1,000 replies a month are free, not the account's. On two numbers, the first 2,000 replies a month are free, the first 1,000 replies on each.
Do my customers' messages to me count?
No, what a customer writes to you is always free. The calculator counts only what you send.
Does the calculator include Tawked's fee?
It shows Tawked's fee on a line of its own, outside Meta's estimate. Tawked's fee per WhatsApp message is 0.00 SAR today, and Meta bills its own charges to your WhatsApp Business Account directly.
Why might Meta's bill differ from the calculator?
Because the calculator uses Meta's list rates for messages to Saudi numbers only. Meta's bill also holds messages to numbers abroad at their country's rates, lower utility and authentication rates past the first band, the free 72 hours after an ad, and Meta's own count of the free replies.
